Improvements Coming

This project will include widening and reconstructing I-70 from two lanes to three lanes in each direction between the major interchanges with I-79 (North Junction and South Junction), South Strabane Township, Washington County, PA. The project includes the reconfiguration of Exit 19, SR19 Murtland Avenue interchange to eliminate the current “cloverleaf” configuration and provide a diamond type interchange. The project also includes the widening of the existing ramp from I-70 westbound to I-79 northbound at Exit 18 to provide two lanes.
