Project Overview

Improvements Complete

The project consisted of the partial reconfiguration of the I-70/I-79 interchange known as the South Junction Interchange. It involved construction of a new fly-over ramp carrying the I-79 northbound to I-70 westbound traffic movement, as well as new concrete roadway on I-79 northbound and the ramp to I-70 eastbound. Work started in September 2011 and was completed in October 2014.
